Although poverty in the manifested world a fairly substantial decline, social inequality, including health nutrition, seem to persist in the territories. The hygiene conditions of life and the unfavourable environment, limited access to favourable foods for health are often the determinants that contribute to the incidence of chronic disease. The role of nutrition is essential as risk factor than as a factor of health protection.
The evils of malnutrition are the consequences of this inequality, most often caused by environmental determinants and conditions of life.
Association B’SaN (Asso well-being Health Nutrition) is given a mission to act sooner rather than later, by articulating its actions around a central element for any health strategy – prevention – and this for all the ages of life (during the first 1,000 days of life, with children in school age, the parents and families…), in all settings (crèches, schools, municipalities, including in the streets), in different territories (overseas, peaceful and) Metropolis), with all the poor and the poverty. The goal is to promote health through nutrition behaviors.
Coordinate the different strategies and unite the forces paying special attention to the specific features of the territories, different actors and people to keep procedures in line with the priorities of local public health nutrition, this is the vision of theAssociation well-being health nutrition. Respect the cultures and traditions, to adapt to the local context, collaborate with elected officials, families, then acting in favor of children, develop social entrepreneurship… These are its values.
